Lex accounts are provisioned by invitation. The documentation covers the product model and capabilities present in the software, but availability still depends on the firm’s provisioned environment. Portal automation, durable reminders and source-grounding behavior are preview capabilities and are not part of the standard lawyer demo until their environment proof passes.

Lex is the KlusAI product for legal and notarial practices. It keeps your clients, case files, engagements and deadlines in one place, connects your litigation records to portal.just.ro in provisioned environments, and lets you ask questions about your own documents and Romanian legislation. When retrieval returns sources, Lex can show references that you must verify against the underlying passage.

Lex opens in Romanian. You can switch to English on your Account page; the assistant then answers in English too.

The assistant

Lex’s assistant is Klu, the same assistant that runs across the kOS platform. In Lex it appears in the sidebar as Ask Lex, and its toolkit is scoped to legal work: it can search your clients, case files, deadlines and portal change history, and search Romanian legislation, Constitutional Court decisions and the documents your firm has uploaded.

The lawyer stays responsible

Klu is an assistance tool. Answers are AI-generated and can be incomplete or wrong. Citation markers, source cards, warnings and grounding badges can help, but they are not guaranteed on every answer and may be mismatched — open the source and confirm it says what the answer says before you rely on it, send it to a client, or file it. Responsibility for legal acts, strategy and advice remains with the lawyer.
